Apparently Google has its knickers all in a twist over those cunts in the Eu and some shite about cookies. Frankly if they are biscuits then I will eat them, if you are concerned about this then fuck off somewhere else and read something else.

Big day out tomorrow

1st ever UK Shooting show to be held at Newark. I am still behind with some paperwork so next week I will be busy. We had to have the council rat catcher in as our neighbours all had the same problem. Still the Ninja hens are slowly venturing out from the ark;

Friday was spent on a team building day with the client and as such I was unable to get anything done bar some beer drinking! Never mind, if I dont buy a couple of rifles tomorrow then the money gets spent on a box trailer for the Tea Lady!

Talking of the devil she has been E Mythering me;

How it should be done apparently.

Well with getting ready for Crufts next week (thankfully the tree huggers of the Beeb wont be there to ruin it) I decided that it was time to get a few brushes out for a drying session;

Yes there are a few bald charlies around these parts!

Is this Justice?

Thanks to Arrsse for this; Criminal to appeal? Convicted killer to appeal his sentence, now why isnt that a surprise? perhaps a few weeks in stir may allow his army of 10'000 muslims to storm Parliament as he clearly stated previously.
Perhaps as a convicted criminal other countries will bar him from entering, some hope eh?

Thanks to Arrsser Meridian for this:
"A lorry driver has been sentenced to three years in prison for causing death by driving without due care and attention. It was claimed he was using a laptop computer.A waitress was sentenced to 21 months in prison for causing death by driving without due care and attention. She had been texting whilst driving prior to the accident.A Lord and a Lord that had threatened the capital with 10,000 muslim protestors over the Gert Wilders appearance gets 12 weeks, out in 6IS ANYONE EVEN REMOTELY SUPRISED"

This is grit and pluck

This was sent me this morning scanned in from the daily mail;

I watched the medal parade on the news that night, it must have been dusty indoors!

Then this is in about the grinning spiv;

Says it all really doesnt it, one young man amongst many that are struggling because of the ego of the grinning spiv?

Throbber of the week 2

Perhaps this should be month but who cares?

I think so!

This is also an example of how not to!

Death in the long grass

Well today after a long week on call I took the kids bowling and started to wind down, only 2 weeks till crufts and my bitch is still in season!

I was making a cup of tea when our new neighbours decided to put in an appearance, one shot later and it was death in the long grass, number 2 son went up to our urban high seat and took the first stag but hit no more;

I spy with my little eye;

He was a big fecker but a dead one all the same;

Thats an UK size 11 boot there!

Now we have become members of the good life we should expect to see a few more of these!

A trip to middle farm and a Forsham Ark was procured;

After we had finished assembling it we let thenew Ninja hens into their home!

The hens had some company till bedtime!

Having become a wage slave again

I had almost forgotten what a joy it was being out in the woods early in the morning.
Checking on high seats;

Viewing what the latest food craze for Bambi is;

And of course the end result;

thanks to Bonzodog on arrsse for this one;

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

A brisk walk around the wood this morning

Some exercise before going on call tomorrow and no idea where it will end up but I am packing an overnight bag.

A chance to count the amount of feeders needing work, about 12 in total to lift and shift, fit on goal posts and fit new nozzles. That and mapping them all to ensure that whoever is on the feed roster knows where they are.
That said we will need another 1/3 of a ton by next week, feeding out of season is paying divideds as this morning we flushed at least a dozen cock birds and countless hens. I suspect that the lambs next door will keep the magpies occupied for a while.

The season may have ended but the work goes on

Elmer and I met up this afternoon to sort out a few feeders and do some topping up. We collected the two free standing ones, fitted the Wright nozzles to them, topped them up and set off with a few buckets of grain.

Job No1 set up a goal post feeder for one that was sited hanging against a tree;

Thats definetly a whole lot better than how it was before, we then dropped of the two free standing feeders, the ones with the new nozzles.
These are sited on the paths that cross the first drive or Millies as it is now known! This should encourage the birds to use the scrub and brambles on the open ground, all good plans. Whilst we were siting the next feeder Misty flushed a big Cock Pheasant which proves that feeding throughout the year is definetly worthwhile;

Back along the top path on Millies drive the last feeder also received the goalpost treatment;

These feeder nozzles were still running freely and the oats seem to be a favourite of the birds so we will keep the remaining ones for the extra feeders I am planning to build over the next few months!

More work needed and next time I'll take a tow rope to get me out of the sticky stuff that normally seems to attract my driving skills! I think we need to build about 6 or 7 more goal post feeders to get them off the trees.

Worried by government and the right wing reaction to it?

Well to be honest you should be! I am concerned that one of my close former colleagues and a comrade for life had to find this via the BNP!

That said watch what the Zanu Neu Arbeit proponent of one law for you and another for me wanted banned from the House of Lords private viewing!

This is what lord Ahmed doesnt want his colleagues to see and is happy to threaten a march of 100,000 Islamic protestors to ensure that free speech is restricted to the politically correct under Zanu Neu Arbeits regime!
All I can say at the moment is sorry, sorry that it takes the BNP, the most villified legal political party constituted in law in the UK to bring this to us, in fact Lord Khan has successfully promoted Gert Villders film without even trying too hard and without for once breaking too many laws!
Sad but a powerful use of the press to put over a view that means change for this country!

Thanks to MSR for this one!

Of course the army rumour service strikes again!

The Camera Never lies

According to Jeremy who emailed me this compilation;

Sorry Ladies!

Another Monday morning

"How was your weekend?" and the answer is "odd actually" 34 out of 70 on the sorting bird layout and the 20 bore kept double discharging! I may need to upgrade my oldest onto a 12 bore as he isnt holding the 28 bore firmly enough for the second barrel to cock and he is also missing far too many birds costing me a fortune in cartridges. I think a lesson in bruised shoulders may help!
Cancelled last weeks trip to the woods although I may go this wednesday weather permitting! Its not the road conditions that concern me but all of the other throbbers who cant drive blocking the road with abandoned cars. I really do need to get out and fill the freezer!
Fingers crossed and we are hoping for no snow tonight!
Time for another funny perhaps?

Anyway until I have the chance to bag something, this is about all you will get, that is unless my new rifle arrives!

Whilst the BBC whinged about Gollywogs

Some of us were busy trying to keep the country working depite what the poxy BBC claimed;

Whilst the chattering classes moaned and whined like a fast jet pilot about how inconvenienced they were some of us were shovelling snow and generally enjoying ourselves:

Of course I should have been stalking so I thought something to cheer me up would be in order;

Do you really want one?

Now we own one but I am not the sort to get excited over it, in fact you can get strikes doing 10 pin bowling lying on the sofa!

This is one from the Tea Lady;

Working from home today

Thanks mainly to Network Rail (or fail) who despite 3 days notice seemed unable to run sufficient de icer trains to keep the network open (duh!) and Southern Trains who couldnt get the trains in the right place either, oh well another dusting due and another days chaos coming soon.

Driving back from my eldest sons 18th Birthday dinner at the Gun Inn last night;

It was nice to see that the A22, the major road in this county hadnt been gritted!

Finally thanks to Mr FM for resurrecting the Redneck Doorbell thread, that remminds me of where I should be today!

1st of Feb

Every year it comes around, a certain inevitability that means no more game birds and get into the freezer for your fix. I always feel the same as its my eldest sons birthday, 18 this year and still despite what he thinks absolutely no wiser than when I changed his nappies not so long ago!

The dogs this morning exploded from the run thinking they were going working, at least it was a walk in the woods for them, for me no shooting beyond pest control and deer which I will be starting again this week, perhaps I can lie back on the sofa of sloth with a whisky and reminisce on what was a season of firsts and lasts.

Alex's first Pheasant;

Elmers and Dillies first bird on this shoot;

The last season for Millie and Sheba, sadly Millie is no longer with us but she remains immortalised as we have named a drive after her;

Sheba in the snow at the fish pond, yes it is snowing so probably no train to work in the morning!

Still here are a couple from yesterday;

On the way be we got to see what Mr Clarkson apparently calls a hot hatch;

Isnt it funny what you see on the way home!

At least Zulu is on the square box this afternoon!
