Opening day

A trip around the M25 yesterday brought me to the British Sporting Rifle Club, a superb facility let down only by the Landlords. Swarovski and Sauer had laid on a day trying different scopes and rifles and ofcourse different calibres. What a great way to spend the day;

Lots of things to try out;

Lots of shiny nice toys;

I particularly liked the short barrelled "woodland" at the bottom;

Near the clay layout someone had chosen more traditional transport;

A clear view of the Swarovski offerings;

Binos and rangefinders included;

The static targets;

and the moving ones;

Everyone seemed to be enjoying the day out;

After that a trip to the Zero range revealed something a little special;

There was some fun shooting taking place;

So the last day of september passes, I'm sat in my office having collected the car from its MOT and wishing away the hours till we start our little shoot in the morning!

Thats not even the half of it, I'll keep an ear out for the next session, perhaps I can persuade GMK to set up a Leupold and Tikka day?
