Time for a few all nighters with the shotgun and slugs.
We delivered the first 1000 litre water butts today and dropped in on another farm nearby to collect our Sloes for the Gin and Rum.
This will be used for next shooting season but has already been processed this afternoon. work shirts ironed, beer poured, kids fed and Rugby world cup finals are on the TV!
The reason I label, well after 8 to 12 weeks in the cupboard it all looks the same to me! Simple recipe; 1 pint of clear spirit, 1 lb of sloes and 1/2 lb of sugar.
This is where I walk my dogs when we dont have time to get to the farm.
